Our co-President Carmen Sandi receives the 2022 Scott Award

We are proud to announce that our co-President Carmen Sandi has won the 2022 Scott Award from the International Society for Research on Aggression (ISRA). The ISRA, composed by scholars and researchers who study aggression and violence, awards every two years the John Paul Scott Award, named after one of its founder. The eponymous award “recognizes a lifetime or substantial contribution to aggression research”. ISRA recognizes Professor Sandi as “a world leader in the field that connects stress with brain function and behavior”, having made “seminal contributions to the understanding of the mechanisms whereby stress affects cognition, aggression, and psychopathologies.”

Warm congratulations for this well-deserved Award!
